Types of information we collect

This Privacy Policy covers personal information, non-personal data collection and aggregate reporting.

Personal information is information that is associated with your name or personal identity. Except when you submit a membership enquiry via email, Lions District 105d do not collect personal information.

NON-personal information is data about usage and service operation that is not associated with a specific personal identity. Lions District 105d collect and analyse non-personal information to evaluate how visitors use the this website. Non-personal data we collect may include the pages visited on this website, unique URLs, browser type and IP address. Most non-personal data is collected via cookies or other analysis technologies.

Children’s Privacy

B&I Lions are committed to protecting the privacy needs of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. As a part of a much larger Lions Club International organisation, B&I Lions support the Internet Content Rating Association (ICRA), which is an international, non-profit organisation of Internet leaders working to develop a safer Internet. The centrepiece of the organization is the descriptive vocabulary, often referred to as "the ICRA questionnaire". Content providers check which of the elements in the questionnaire are present or absent from their websites. This then generates a small file containing the labels that is then linked to the content on one or more domains. To read the B&I Lions label, enter the URL www.icra.org/sitelabel, enter the web site address www.lions105d.org.uk, and click on TEST.

How we use your information

Non-personal data is aggregated for reporting about Lions 105d website usability, performance and effectiveness. It is used to improve the visitor experience, usability and site content.
