District Officers Partners' Charity

The Charity adopted by the Partners of the District Officers this Lionistic year is the Air Ambulances of 105D.

There are four of these Air Ambulances serving our District:

Each of these costs around £3,000 a day to keep operational, with none of this coming from the Government or National Lottery funds. Any help that clubs can provide through donations to the Partners' Charity would therefore be most welcome. As always, cheques payable to LCI District 105D and endorsed on the back "Partners Charity" can be sent to the District Treasurer. All donGraph showing progress of donations to the Partners\\' Charityations will be acknowledged. In addition, please be generous in your support to the Raffle which the Governor's Spouse is running, during the Governor's visit to each club.

As at 24 February 2010, a total of nearly £18,000 has been raised, either through donations by clubs direct to their local Air Ambulance, donations to the partners Charity or, through the raffle being run by the Governor's Spouse.
