Reading Lions Club
Lieutenant-Colonel Stuart Rowsell has been awarded an MBE for helping to raise £1m since 1998 for the Ark Medical Trust.
Stuart was inspired to help the trust after thrice surviving cancer.

Bracknell Lions Club are delighted to announce the latest addition to the Lions 'family'. Our President - Clare Dowling - gave birth to her first child (a baby boy) in Frimley Park Hospital at 15:35 on the 9th September. He weighed in at 8lb 3oz and is to be called Robin.
Mother and baby are doing fine. Just as well we had already decided to cancel last night's meeting as Clare was feeling unwell in the morning otherwise our resident midwife - Lion Brigid Hendy - may have been called upon to help!
All the club join me in congratulating Clare and husband Steve - and of course Robin.
